To secure your reservation, you are required to make a 50% deposit of the total tour cost within four days of confirming your tour.
The balance must be paid 35 days prior to departure.
If you make your reservation less than 36 days before departure you will be required to pay for the tour in full when you confirm it.
All prices quoted exclude any financial transaction costs which your bank may charge. These charges are your responsibility.
Payment must be made in the currency in which the quotation is accepted or in which the invoice is made out.
Terms and Conditions on transfers
A 50% deposit is payable within 4 days after receiving your invoice to secure your transfer and the balance is due 7 days before the transfer commences.
The balance has to be remitted at least 30 days prior to safari commencement. All the payments should be FREE FROM BANK CHARGES and We accept Cards Payment its 5% surcharge.
Please note that: – US$ bills printed prior to the year 2009 are not accepted by Banks in Tanzania so we are unable to accept US$ bills printed prior to the year 2009.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you cancel your tour with a notice period of 65 days or more, we will refund 75% of the total booking cost or deposit received.

Insurance
It is a condition of booking that all travelers, including any accompanying dependents or companions, are covered by fully comprehensive travel and medical insurance for the duration of their trip. This insurance should include cover for the following eventualities:
Nuru Tours and Safaris , its representatives, employees and agents, will accept no responsibility whatsoever for any costs or losses incurred or suffered by the traveller, traveller’s dependants or travelling companions, with regard to, but not limited to, any of the above mentioned eventualities. Travellers not covered by adequate insurance may be charged directly by individual service providers for any emergency services required, or may find themselves in a position where they are unable to access such services.
Additional Information
Nuru Tours and Safaris shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense of any nature whatsoever suffered by the traveller arising from:
The loss of or any damage to any property
The cancellation or curtailment of any tour
Sickness, quarantine, weather conditions, war, strikes, riots and/or any other cause of any nature whatsoever, however caused and whether as a result of negligence or otherwise.
All travel arrangements, such as flight bookings, hotel and accommodation reservations, motor transport bookings and the like made by Nuru Tours and Safaris are subject to the booking conditions and cancellation provisions of the relevant supplier. Nuru Tours and Safaris reserves the right to alter or substitute routes, refreshments, meals, accommodation, itineraries, tours, services, vehicles and/or arrangements if necessary. In such instances, substitutes of equal value will be offered wherever possible. If, in the opinion of Nuru Tours and Safaris , the fulfilment of any tour is considered impossible, illegal or inadvisable due to adverse weather conditions, avalanches, strikes, war, government interference and/or any other cause not arising from Nuru Tours and Safaris ’ negligence, it may at any time cancel such tour or what remains of it or make alterations to the route, accommodation, price and/or any other aspect as it thinks fit, and any losses and expenses resulting from such cancellation or alteration shall be borne by the traveller. Consent Payment by a client of a deposit or any other partial payment for a reservation with Nuru Tours and Safaris constitutes consent by all clients covered by that payment to all the terms, conditions and provisions stipulated by Nuru Tours and Safaris.
Drinks: these are NOT included in our costs.
Visa: all nationals will require visas for TANZANIA. We recommend that where possible your clients attain their visas in advance, although they are available upon arrival in TANZANIA but a part from the ones on REFERRAL VISA WHICH WE ASSIST ON EXPRESS VISA IN ADVANCE.
Climate: The climate is hot and sometimes humid. From December to March, when the north-east monsoon blows, it is hot and humid. In April and May heavy rains occur with June to October being the coolest and driest period. The lesser rains fall in November. Temperatures sway between 25 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius and annual rainfall is about 20mm.
Baggage allowance: Baggage is restricted to 15kg per person on the domestic flights within East Africa. Soft-sided luggage or duffels are preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles and on aircraft used within Africa. Large suitcases of dimensions greater than 24″ x 17″x 7″ are impossible to store in vehicles and on aircraft and should not be used. (Baggage and personal effects are at owner’s risk throughout the tour and baggage insurance for members is strongly recommended).
Shopping Trips: Driver/Guides will only stop at the shops/curios stall, which are recommended by Nuru Tours and Safaris. We provide escort at no extra cost to accompany guests on shopping trips so as to help with recommendation and save.
ALL RATES ARE QUOTED WITHOUT EASTER, XMAS AND NEW YEAR SUPPLIMENT – PLEASE CHECK ON THIS WHEN BOOKING THE SAFARIS.
*Nuru Tours and Safaris cannot be held responsible should airlines discontinue flights on certain routings or change scheduled timetables resulting in missed connections etc. Should an amendment in a routing or itinerary be necessary we will requite you accordingly.
*Please advice take precautions against malaria prior to the commencement of their holiday. We recommend they contact your pharmacist for advice as to which prophylactic is recommended.

The Company cannot accept any liability or pay any compensation in respect to delays or lack of performance affected by ‘force majeure’. Force Majeure means any event which the Company has no control over and even in circumstances where all due care was taken the event could not have been avoided or foreseen. This includes events such as war, or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside the Company’s control. settle any dispute or matter arising under this contract.
